Our council’s own Grand Knight Russ Wernke was presented with the honor of being selected “Knight of the Year” (2025) for the entire Archdiocese for Southwest Ohio.
On December 6, 2025 Tom Hahn, president of the Cincinnati KofC Chapter, presented Russ with the greater Cincinnati “WILLIAM RIECKELMAN MEMORIAL KNIGHT OF THE YEAR AWARD”.
This is the highest award the Archdiocese of Cincinnati K of C awards to an individual Knight.
His tireless contributions have greatly increased the strength of the Queen of Apostles council
